A central processor was a piece of technology that was used in a droid or mech that functioned like a brain for the device. Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker repaired one for Pran of the Open during the mission to Carnelion IV. Lando Calrissian considered the central processor of L3-37 to be light-years more advanced than that of any droid he had ever met.
