Charged-particle vibrating waves were used in the construction of molecularly bonded armor. The waves bombarded metal that had been liquified by ion fusers and held in place by texture-molding tractor fields. This process increased the strength of each molecule's subatomic bonding strength, which in turn gave the armor increased resilience.
