Clingwire

Clingwire was a form of heavy-duty wire used by law enforcement agents, as well as bounty hunters, to ensnare their quarry.

Fired from a wrist-mounted launcher and equipped with a heavy repulsorlift driven head to ensure it reached its target, Clingwire was capable of winding tightly around the body, and ensnaring individuals. Clingwire was made out of high tensile material, which could support massive amounts of weight and stress. Additionally, the wire was coated in a material designed for superior gripping power when ensnaring a target, as a result the wire tightened whenever the target moved.
