The Cobaltia Sea was a body of water on the planet Alderaan. It was renowned in the Alderaan system for its warm waters and light winds, and was one of the locations that the Alderaanian tourist board put forward in its advertisements. The Cobaltia Sea was destroyed along with the whole planet when the Galactic Empire used its new Death Star battle station on Alderaan in 0 BBY.
