Cybernetic psychosis was a condition that could occur in cyborgs using brain-altering cybernetic implants or borg constructs. The cyborg's mind lost the ability to maintain control of the cybernetic computer, driving them insane.

A cyborg pilot suffered from cybernetic psychosis, causing insanity and the belief that a Z-95 Headhunter piloted by Jaina Solo was the prototype Onyx Star. The pilot believed that he had been contracted by the Tenloss Syndicate to prevent its delivery to the SoroSuub Corporation.
