A deadblade was a term referring to a non-energized bladed melee weapon. The short beskar blade used by the Sith assassin Ochi in his Jedi hunt on the planet Malathon IX during the Clone Wars and the long metal sword wielded by the droid KB-68 in 21 ABY were both examples of deadblades.
