Dega Coronis was a scientist who lived on Naboo during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, Coronis was acquainted with Bab Esrus, a biosculptor in the city of Moenia. In 1 ABY, Esrus hired a spacer to retrieve genetic material — pigmentation-production chromosomes of the common capper spineflap — from Dega Coronis.
