Divide and Conquer (strategy)

"Divide and Conquer" was a dogfighting strategy in which starfighter pilots would take advantage of an enemy pilot's lack of discipline to separate them from the rest of their group and destroy them. Fenn Rau once warned Kay Karno, a.k.a. Phoenix Six, that her habit of breaking formation might cause her to become a victim of that strategy.
