Eclipse was a gambling hologame played with colored holographic cards. It was played with multiple players and a dealer. The cards were in various colors and with different symbols on themPlayers could either "stand" or "stay" or could let themselves be "hit" by the dealer, who then shouted "Eclipse" and then, depending on the their cards, the players would either win or loose. Names of cards included "Twilight", "Equinox", "Nova", "Partial Eclipse" and "Supernova". In 34 ABY, the slicer DJ played the game in Canto Bight, where he first played it with stolen money in the Coruscant Hotel and Casino—where it was played by a Zabrak dealer—and later the Vesustrian.
