Elaine Baker

Elaine Baker is the ex-wife of make-up designer Rick Baker. During the filming of the second Star Wars film, Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, Baker was filmed for test shots of Emperor Palpatine. However, Marjorie Eaton would be the one to appear in the final film.

Though Elaine Baker is credited in The Making of The Empire Strikes Back as being the actress who appears in the final film, a twitter post by Lucasfilm Story Group's Pablo Hidalgo suggests the information in the book is incorrect, making Eaton (credited in the book as doing the test shots) the one who appears in the film.
