Emerald

Emeralds were green gemstones valued by pirates. They could be worth anywhere from five to twenty-five thousand credits per Coruscant Standard Carat. The planet Naboo, which looked like a green orb from space, was sometimes compared to an emerald.

An emerald ring was given to Tenel Ka Djo by her ailing mother, Teneniel Djo. That jewel turned out to be a holocube showing the location of a rebuilt Hapan fleet.

The Jedi Knight Corran Horn used a emerald to power the first phase in his lightsaber.
