Foot soldier

A foot soldier was a component of the board game shogi. After the former Sith known as the Ronin was injured during a duel with the Jedi lord Hanrai aboard the Imperial Dreadnought Reverent, the former Jedi known as the Traveler helped him escape the ship as it collapsed. To keep the Ronin engaged, the Traveler suggested they verbally play a game of shogi, beginning by moving their fourth foot soldier one forward. The Ronin, however, found the suggestion boring and instead wanted to learn of the Traveler's past.
