A group of outcasts led by the human Gaan lived in a settlement on the the Outer Rim planet Ragmar V during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy. In the final year of the war, the Jedi Padawan Joc Sah and his squad of clone troopers attacked the outcasts in order to use the world as a staging planet for an attack on a Separatist base.
