Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

The Galactic Standard Time (abbreviated GST), also known as Coordinated Galactic Time, Coruscant standard time or simply standard time, was the standard measurement of time in the galaxy. It was based on the Coruscant solar cycle. The Coruscant solar cycle was 368 days long with a day consisting of 24 standard hours.

Galactic Standard Time could be observed via a chronometer. Midday GST took place at twelve hours into a standard day, which was denoted as 12:00 GST. Most chronometers had a feature allowing to check local current time against Galactic Standard Time.
