Ganath Cloud

The Ganath Cloud was a location that shared its name with the planet Ganath, which was located in the Ganath system within Hutt Space. The smuggler Han Solo described the Ganath Cloud as a scenic location.

In 0 ABY, the Ganath Cloud was included among a list of potential locations for a new rebel base that rebel Princess Leia Organa intended to travel to during a scouting mission she carried out with Solo aboard the stolen Imperial Lambda-class shuttle Invictus. While the two were in the Outer Rim's Moddell sector, the smuggler read the contents of the list aloud to Organa, noting they were beautiful locales. In response, Organa informed Solo of their mission, noting they were not on a sightseeing tour, before adding that the more remote and isolated the location they decided on for their base, the better. Ultimately, Organa and Solo did not travel to the Ganath Cloud as they were forced to land on a planet in the Monsua Nebula.
