Generation Five Thousand

Generation Five Thousand was a Generation of clone troopers created on the planet Kamino by the Kaminoans to be used to fight for the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Clone cadet 9779 was a member of Generation Five Thousand. In 22 BBY, while stationed on the planet Aargau, 9779 crossed paths with Boba Fett, a fellow clone of Jango Fett, the bounty hunter who became the genetic source for the clones of the Galactic Republic. Unbeknownst to 9779 though, the young Boba was not a cadet of the Republic's army, but rather a bounty hunter. 9779 introduced himself to Boba, who in turn responded with the alias 1313. 9779 then asked if he was also part of Generation Five Thousand, to which Boba lied and answered yes.
