Gherillian theoretical proof

Canon Linked from 2 articles

Gherillian theoretical proofs were a set of mathematical proofs known to the protocol droid J-6 that were used to calculate odds. Their origin point was the Gherillia system, which was located in the Expansion Region.

In 232 BBY, during the High Republic Era, after the destruction of the Star Cruiser Steady Wing, the survivors of the incident became stranded on the Outer Rim moon Wevo and discovered that the shuttle they had escaped on had been sabotaged. During a discussion about whether the incident had been planned, J-6 dryly stated to Jedi Padawan Imri Cantaros that the odds of the Steady Wing colliding with an unknown object while traveling hyperspace were very low, then adding that the odds of their shuttle's systems failing all at once were even lower. J-6 then offered to show Cantaros the math, before asking the Padawan how he was at Gherillian theoretical proofs.
