The Gran Protectorate Act was an act passed by the Galactic Senate in 1000 BBY, establishing the Gran Protectorate on the planet Malastare, effectively ceding the world to the Gran colonists. As a result of the Act, unemployed Dug natives were banished to the world's western continent.
