Heat-sealer

Legends

Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

A heat-sealer was device used by the Malkite Poisoners, and found within their poisoner's kit. The heat-sealer could close puncture wounds made by the kit's needles, when in direct contact with the wound. This allowed the poisoner to disguise the method of a target's death by leaving no trace of the entry wound.
