A heating array was a device that could be used to apply heat to objects. After trading a shuttle for what he thought was the frozen body of Cornelius Evazan, Tam Posla, who had suspicions about whether it was truly Evazan, ordered his ship to divert its power to the heating array so that the ice would melt.
