Holorecorder

Holorecorders, also known as holographic/audio recorder, recorded three-dimensional images or holograms. Holorecorders were capable of storing up to two hundred hours worth of data in its internal memory, and most units allowed for recording rods to be connected to it to serve as expanded memory capacity. Holorecorders weighed about one kilogram and from 32 BBY to 8 ABY were available for 3,000 credits.

Voren Na'al captured much of the proceedings of the Battle of Hoth from the Rebellion's icy defensive trenches with a holorecorder. Miniaturized holorecorders could be installed inside datapads and astromech droids.
