A hydroprocessor was a type of machine used in a kitchen that made a whirring sound when used. The mother of the Dark Jedi Brakiss kept a hydroprocesser on the kitchen counter in her home on the planet Msst. In 17 ABY, the women turned on the hydroprocesser during a conversation with the Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, who had ventured to Msst in search of information regarding her son's activities.
