Hyperdrive pod

A hyperdrive pod, also known as a hyperspace pod was a droid-controlled hyperdrive-equipped pod that delivered probe droids to their destinations.

Once the pod exited hyperspace, it would crash onto a planet's surface, breaking apart and allowing the droid to exit the pod and begin its assigned mission.

The Viper probe droid utilized two models, both developed by Arakyd Industries; the Predator I, and the Probe-Mate hyperspace pod.

The Spelunker probe droid used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems were deployed by hyperdrive pods in their travels.

The Seeker Transport hyperdrive pod was used to transport the AS-M12-series messenger droid to its destination.
