Hypno-imprinting

Hypno-imprinting, also called hypno-indoctrination and sleep-imprinting, was the use of hypnosis to implant orders, post-hypnotic commands, or to impart tactical information en route to a mission.

Hypno-imprinting was also used to brainwash Alliance prisoners while they were incarcerated by the Galactic Empire. The prisoners were then released and the hypno-imprinting forced the prisoners to spy on the Alliance without the Rebels knowing what they were doing.
