Immunity programming was a procedure undertaken by certain Imperial officers. It allowed them to fight off the effects of certain drugs. For instance, a drug designed to make a human sleep for hours might be shaken off in a much shorter time, and far more of the drug would be required to take effect at all. The immunity programming was effective even while the subject was unconscious. Sector Commander Zertik Strom had received immunity programming.
