Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

Impaler was a fictional pre-Clone Wars Droideka devised by Wraith Squadron leader Garik Loran as part of a fictional third Wraith Squadron ruse.

Viull Gorsat, a former Shamed One who had joined the Wraiths, recalled that when he was first adopted by his parents, they gave him a toy droideka to help him overcome his fear of machines. The toy would chase insects out of his room and impale litter into waste bins. Gorsat claimed to have named the toy Imapler.
