The Imperial Classified Flight Yards was an Imperial-owned testing center which dealt with the development and testing of experimental starfighters. At some point before 0 BBY, then-Captain Soontir Fel was temporarily stationed at the Flight Yards, with his brief time having him test-flying the TIE/AG Aggressor starfighter, the TIE/HU Hunter multi-role starfighter, the TIE/D Defender, and the TIE/ph phantom, and likewise gave their basic statistics in the Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide, the official field manual for the Imperial Military.
