Imperial Elderblock

Imperial Elderblocks were compounds existing during the time of the Galactic Empire that housed elderly residents. The residents of the elderblocks were looked after by orderlies, doctors and volunteers and often paid for by the residents' relatives. The Imperial Elderblocks were similarly named to the Imperial Kinder-blocks. One such facility was the Imperial Elderblock 26-0640 on the Empire's capital planet Coruscant. At some point during the Imperial Era, it was looked after by the Director Diggins and the residents considered her to be cutting the facility's costs and skimming off the top of the profits, while it was still considered expensive.
