Imperial Schematic Design System was the name for a computer program that created virtual designs for Imperial engineering projects such as the Death Star.
One of the blueprints, depicting an earlier version of the Death Star with its superlaser placed on the equator, had been retrieved by Rebel Alliance agents on Galvoni III in the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin.
