Industrial superlaser

An industrial superlaser was a type of superlaser used to liquefy metal ore in Geonosian factories. It was rumored that Imperial researchers tried to scale up industrial superlasers for use in a weapons platform, and Saw Gerrera was certain this was the reason they sterilized the surface of Geonosis.
