Interdictor

An interdictor, also called an Interdictor ship, was the term used to refer to starships that had the capability of generating Interdiction fields using gravity well projectors.

The Galactic Empire used Interdictor ships, with the most common model being the Immobilizer 418 cruisers. However, some Imperial-class Star Destroyers where refited to become Interdictors, and became known as Interdictor-class Star Destroyers. Other examples of Interdictor vessels included CC-7700 frigates, Eclipse-class dreadnoughts, and Sovereign-class Super Star Destroyers.
