Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.
The Kellis system was located in the galaxy. During the Cold War between the reconstituted Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, the system was infested with smugglers. Around 3643 BBY, Ungo the Hutt was looking to hire security to escort a shipment of theirs through the system.
Around that year, an individual affiliated with one of the two sides in the Cold War sent a companion of theirs to escort the shipment through the Kellis system. The companion fended off a pirate attack; grateful, Ungo offered a generous reward to them.
