The kleti gland was an organ found in the anatomy of the Stenax species. It was located in the wide, spine-shaped protrusion that ran from a Stenaxes' eyes, over the head, and to the top of the neck. The gland allowed a Stenax to target and home in on objects located on the ground when they flew at great heights. The kleti also gave the Stenaxes the ability to see great distances in low-light conditions, while retaining the ability to distinguish color and detail.
