The Korun were a group that inhabited the Mid Rim planet of Haruun Kal, the homeworld of Jedi Master Mace Windu.
Some time after the end of the Clone Wars, the Korun waged an Insurrection on Haruun Kal against the young Galactic Empire. The insurrectionist Korun attacked from trees of Haruun Kal's jungles at night, wielding crude slugthrowers which could not pierce stormtrooper armor as well as bombs which could.
