The LCL-1 light laser cannon was a type of light laser cannon developed by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. by the time of the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. LCL-1 laser cannons were twin-linked for high damage and increased power consumption, and they were favored by pilots who preferred to fight at close range, as the cannons' damage output dramatically dropped with distance.
