Leech

Leeches were sanguivorous annelids found on Trinta and Toydaria. These tiny parasitic creatures were found in the water of swamps, and were frequently able to evade protection granted by clothing or unsealed armor to attach to skin and suck out bodily fluids. The threat of leeches often caused individuals who had been exposed to them to hesitate before entering other bodies of swampy water, sometimes to their detriment when avoiding opponents.
