Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

Lusankya was Ysanne Isard's private prison, housed within the Executor-class Star Dreadnought of the same name, which itself was buried within the Coruscant cityscape. At the feared secret prison, Isard brainwashed captives, turning them into secret agents that she then released to be activated in the future. To confound escapees, the prison was built into the Star Dreadnought upside down, artificial gravity reorienting decks as ceilings. As the prison interiors were clad in stone and the prisoners were led to believe they were within a mine, attempts to escape to the surface would only lead prisoners deeper into the Star Dreadnought, staffed by Isard's personnel.

After the Lusankya was captured by the New Republic, the prison was removed and replaced with a quarantine unit that was mostly serviced by droids and could be completely isolated from the rest of the ship. This unit was built in the event any of the Imperial remnants attempted further biological warfare on the New Republic.
