A m'iiyoom, also called a nightlily, was a carnivorous plant that fed on small rodents and insects that tried to drink the nectar from its white blossoms. It bloomed only during the season of trine, when all three moons of H'nemthe reflected light from the system's sun.

M'iiyoom Onith, a H'nemthe female, was named after this flower.
