Magrifle

Magrifle was a generic term used to describe any rifle-like weapon that used electromagnetic energy to fire a projectile at a target. Magrifles were distinguished by the coils that wound around their barrels, in order to produce the necessary magnetic force to propel a projectile away from the weapon.
