Mandalorian clan

In the Mandalorian culture, families were referred to as clans. Clans often presided over their own fiefdoms and were usually vassals of a "house," or political faction. For example, members of Clan Wren, who ruled the planet Krownest, were allied with House Vizsla. Other clans included Clan Awaud, Clan Bralor, Clan Eldar, Clan Kryze, Clan Rook, Clan Saxon, Clan Tenau, Clan Verminoth, Clan Vizsla, and Clan Wander. The Tribe was a clan, with Clan Mudhorn growing out of it. Members of the Mandalorian Guard were recruited from every clan.
