The Mark of Dedication was an award of the Galactic Republic. General Garza received it for her actions during the Great Galactic War. In the aftermath of Battle of the Gauntlet Garza wanted to award two Marks of Dedication to Elara Dorne and Aric Jorgan. The Major of Havoc Squad however, persuaded her to award them two Medals of Valor instead.
