Mark Omega was a code name for an Imperial project which was one of many that were used to secretly develop aspects of the Death Star project while concealed under a given code name. A data tape for the project was kept in the Galactic Empire's data vault on Scarif. Rebel Alliance member Jyn Erso mentioned it while searching for the Death Star's plans.
