Mass detectors were a type of sensory equipment used in an attempt to detect StealthX-model X-wing fighters during the Swarm War. They were counteracted by the Gravitic amplitude modulators carried by the modified XJ3 X-wings and proved ineffective at detecting the starfighters. They were mainly used by the Chiss Ascendancy.
