Mediscan unit
Canon Legends version → Linked from 4 articles
A mediscan unit was a device similar to a bioscan. A mediscan surveyed an individual's biological make-up, age, origin, and other factors. The device could detect health problems and anomalies in an individual. It could diagnose and treat injuries, similar to a sickbay, but not quite as capable. Smuggler Han Solo scavenged his mediscan unit from an Athakam II Med Unit.
