Megalight per hour

Megalight per hour, sometimes referred to as Megalights per hour, or simply as megalight (MGLT or mglt), was a standardised unit utilised to measure the sublight speed of starships in realspace, which factored in varying interstellar conditions. Despite being termed megalight, the unit only applied to sublight speeds when traversing in realspace—not the velocities exceeding the speed of light upon entering and travelling through the dimension of hyperspace. Although attaining a certain sublight speed was still close enough to the speed of light to cause relativistic effects.
For instance, particular starfighters such as the RZ-1 A-wing interceptor and TIE/D Defender Elite could achieve a sublight speed of 120 megalight per hour, which was discernibly faster than the sublight speed reached by certain shuttles akin to the Delta-class T-3c shuttle or TIE Command Shuttle, being 90 megalight per hour.
The spacecraft with the fastest known realspace speed was the TIE vendetta space superiority fighter (nicknamed the TIE silencer), an advanced First Order TIE starfighter produced by Sienar-Jaemus Fleet Systems, which could attain a maximum realspace speed of 155 MGLT.
