The Mezzicanley Wave was the fourth state of matter, caused when crystalline solids reached temperatures near or at absolute zero. It was a volatile state that would cause whatever achieved it to explode into numerous shards.
In 25 ABY, during the Battle of Helska IV, the ice-world Helska IV was destroyed by using Shieldships to cause it to reach the Mezzicanley Wave.
