Mindscan droid
Legends
Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.
Mindscan droids were used by GeNode cloners to scan the mind of a prime clone by perching on top of their cranium. The template's memories would then be flash-pumped to the minds of their clones late in the cloning process. The mad genetic terrorist and clone master Zeta Magnus used these droids to create GeNode clones of himself, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Halagad Ventor.
