The Ministry of Industry of the Tion Hegemony was the branch of government responsible for the administering and oversight of corporate ventures. The ministry and its officers were unable to keep pace with the demands of a modern galaxy, thereby allowing unscrupulous companies to take advantage of natural resources on planets, especially involving mining actions.
