Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

A nryghat was a frightening monster that haunted children's nightmares in the Kel Dor language. In 43 ABY, the Kel Dor Baran Do sage Tila Mong described the Human Darth Caedus—formerly the Jedi Jacen Solo who had fallen to the dark side of the Force—as a nryghat when discussing with Jedi Luke Skywalker about the Baran Do techniques that Caedus had learned. Tila Mong contemplated whether his transformation into a being of evil was due to learning such techniques, which may have had a damaging effect on Humans who were otherwise virtuous beings.
