Canon Linked from 1 article

An oil fryer was a type of device that could be used to fry oil. In 228 BBY, the Adrens, Joss and Pikka, had alerted several Eriaduans within their complex that, if a war were to break out on the planet Eriadu, they would pull an alarm to order everyone to escape. Eventually, when the Battle of Eriadu initiated, Pikka Adren pulled the alarm to the complex, which sent many civilians fleeing from the building.
